We take pride in the cleanliness of our facility. We invite you to join our team of dedicated house keepers who keep our patients, residents and visitors safe from infection. Shifts are primarily early morning into early afternoon including alternating weekends and holidays.

We are currently hiring for as needed (PRN) Environmental Services (EVS) staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and corridors in a clean, neat and sanitary manner
  
• Perform terminal/detailed cleaning by following a check list or as instructed by the Infection Prevention Nurse
  
• Utilize the appropriate chemicals and cleaning supplies according to each procedure
  
• Transport trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal areas
  
• Replenish supplies as needed
  
• Follow all infection control practices including hand washing techniques
  
• Clean and maintain floors by using heavy equipment to clean, strip, and polish floors on a scheduled/routine basis
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic understanding of chemicals/cleaning detergents and their use
• Able to twist, bend, lift, and walk for long periods of time
• Reading and ability to understand equipment operation manual
•  High school diploma or equivalent
