The acute-care unit at Weston County Health Services is a patient and family focused unit where care is provided for medical and surgical patients across the age spectrum. You can call the Nurses Station directly at 307-746-3700.

Highly qualified nursing personnel, include registered nurses, and certified nursing assistants, work as a team for the care of the patient.  They coordinate plans of care with other facilities and departments, pass medications, and provide discharge education for families and patients.  This by no means is the limit of the abilities of our excellent dedicated staff. They look after all of the needs of the individuals entrusted to our care. They care for the physical, spiritual, emotional, and social aspects with empathy and expertise. As a designated Critical Access Hospital, Weston County Health Services can provide swing bed services, which are certified by Medicare and Medicaid. As part of the swing bed program a full range of clinical services including physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapy, x-ray, laboratory, and pharmacy is readily accessible. Patients are able to recover from surgery, extended illness, and other types of disease processes that require them to receive some type of rehabilitation prior to going home.
