• Finish enrollment
• Use your new insurance

• Apply for Medicaid/CHIP
• Enroll in coverage as a member of a Tribe

 

Even though the March 31st deadline has passed, you can
still finish your application and enroll in health coverage
through HealthCare.gov. There is no deadline to apply for
hardships & exemptions or for Medicaid/CHIP. You can also
report life changes any time during the year. If you have any
questions on how to apply or how to use your new insurance,
call 2-1-1 to speak with a navigator. Enroll Wyoming can help

Now Offering Sleep Studies

Weston County Health Services is very excited to announce that it is now offering Sleep Studies, through Western Sleep Medicine LLC, for those with a physician’s
referral. When the test is ordered, WCHS will have a room in the hospital set up to perform the study. For more information about getting a good night’s sleep, call Debra Holt, Respiratory Therapist, WCHS Cardiopulmonary Dept., at (307) 746-3705.

Wellness Wednesdays

A new Wellness program brought to you by Weston County Health Services, available every
2nd and 4th Wednesday, each month, from 6:30-8:30 a.m. This program includes a blood
draw for select laboratory tests at reasonable rates. The testing is drawn by, performed,
reported and maintained at WCHS twice a month, at 1124 Washington Blvd. in Newcastle. This
new Wellness program is designed to allow people to access laboratory testing more frequently, and therefore, enable everyone to better take care of their health. The first blood draw will be held on Wednesday, April 23, from 6:30-8:30 a.m. at the Hospital. We hope to see you there, but remember this happens every month, so please plan to participate at your convenience!

We would like to invite you to be part of our 2014 Trade Fair/Health Fair. This year’s fair will be held Saturday, April 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Weston County Senior
Services Center in Newcastle. A variety of craft, business, home and health information booths from our community, along with results form the blood draws held on April 3, 4 & 5, will be available at the fair.

Office Assistant/Case Manager (FT)

Provides professional administrative assistance in planning, directing, and controlling various aspects of home care programs.  Performs clerical duties in a professional manner. Assists in preparing grants, fundraising campaigns, budgets, goals, soliciting and obtaining matching funds.  Assists with chart audits and compliance issues, maintains statistical records and data in the Home Health Department.  Successful candidate will assist the elderly and their families and direct them toward appropriate programs that provide support and resources necessary.

Interested in becoming a CNA? 

Start on the road to becoming a CNA with employment first as a

Nurse Aide (NA)!!

 

While employed as an NA in our facility you will gain experience

and have the unique opportunity to shadow professionals in the field

in order to see what being a CNA is all about. 

 

Our NA’s may then be eligable for funding from WCHS

to complete the CNA course and become licensed professionals!

 

No experience is required to start the journey today and become an NA.

true compassion, and dedication to help those we serve.

Notice is given that on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, Weston County Hospital District will hold an election to fill two (2) Weston County Hospital District Trustee Positions, each for a four (4) year term.

The filing period for these positions is from February 5, 2014 through February 25, 2014. Applications for a Weston County Hospital District Trustee position are available at 1124 Washington Blvd., Newcastle, Wyoming, 82701 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or online @ www.wchs-wy.org. Chore Worker Home Health (PT)

Complete designated chore jobs to assist elderly and disabled clients to remain in their homes.  Chore services may include but not limited to: yard work, snow removal on walking paths for the client’s safety, washing cars, heavier household chores/spring cleaning such as shampooing carpets, washing windoews, defrosting freezers, and cleaning ovens.  Minimum starting pay is $10.14 per hour DOQ.
